Why does my gate sag?+
Usually a loose or undersized post, worn hinges, or a frame that's racked out of square. Often it can be fixed without a full replacement.
Can you add a gate to my existing fence?+
Yes, in most cases.
How wide should a drive gate be?+
Wide enough for your largest vehicle or trailer with room to spare. We'll measure with you.
Can you make a gate lockable?+
Yes. We can install latches that take a padlock.
Do you install automatic gate openers?+
Ask us when you call — we'll talk through opener options for your gate.
What is the standard size for a walk gate?+
A walk gate is usually 3 to 4 feet wide — enough for a person, mower, or wheelbarrow. We build it to match your fence and set the posts so it swings true.
Why won't my gate stay closed?+
Usually the posts have shifted, the hinges are worn, or the frame is out of square. We can reset the post, replace hardware, or square the frame — often without a full replacement.
Can you automate an existing gate?+
Often, yes. We'll look at your gate and posts and talk through opener options that fit the weight and width — give us a call and we'll walk through it.
